The philosophical aspect of Yoga and of life in general is an important ingredient on the path towards wholeness. The wisdom teachings of Hindu- and Buddha Dharma offer many important insights, which help to create a much broader, wider and more helpful worldview than the nowadays widespread scientific, reductionistic and materialistic perspective.
Actually it doesn’t matter into which mystic tradition you are diving, the essence is always the same. In that sense I like to reflect and mirror our life and all the experiences we can make as human beings on this Perennial Philosophy approach. All the mystic traditions have a Consciousness first model of the world. The name we put to this all-pervading, all loving, omniscient and omnipresent Consciousness does not matter. The name humans have given it differs with time and space, the essence is always the same.
When I find time to write in this Blog, I will always reflect on actual experiences in relation to the wisdom traditions applied in a perennial philosophy context. Let’s see if I find time and if these lines will in any way be useful…
